Have you met Natalie Hughes? Natalie and her husband Shane moved to the Silicon Valley in mid-July as Shane accepted the position of Young Adult Minister for the Campbell Church.
Shane and Natalie are leaving behind a church family at the West-Ark Church of Christ in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Although she spent many of her childhood years in Fairfax, Virgina, Natalie was the child of a military family and has lived all over the United States.
A graduate of Abilene Christian University and the University of Oklahoma, Natalie has a masters in social work and has been working as a social worker in the Fort Smith Public School District for the last 3 1/2 years. She met Shane while studying at ACU, and they will celebrate their 6th anniversary this August.
Natalie hopes to work as a social worker when they get settled here in California and is looking forward to “fresh fruit and veggies, sunshine, outdoor adventures, making good friends, and learning the West Coast culture!”
Natalie loves cooking—trying new recipes as well as making up her own, and experimenting with and trying new foods, “especially cheeses!” She also loves exploring new places with friends, staying active and reading fiction or exciting non-fiction.
