Fusion Women Giving Back

Have you heard about Fusion?

Fusion, a group of young adult singles and couples, is one of the fastest growing ministries here at the Campbell Church. They meet weekly on Sunday mornings for fellowship and Bible study, and get together outside of church for fun and fellowship as well. In addition, this vibrant group of adults is doing great things for major causes like the fight against breast cancer, blood cancers and so much more.

Team Fascinator is one such group that will be running the Nike Women’s Marathon in October. Sunrise Decena, Christy Aylesworth, Kenna McKenzie and Dianne Robinson (shown above) will be training with Team in Training all summer to prepare for their first half marathon. “Running a half-marathon is something we’ve all wanted to do. We decided to pair up with Team in Training to reach that goal while helping a great cause.”

Team Fascinator will be raising a total of $10,000 for the Leukemia and Lyumphoma society, 75% of the money raised going directly to cancer research.

You can help Team Fascinator reach their fundraising goals by participating in one of their upcoming fundraisers. They will be selling refreshments at upcoming AWE events, offering a car wash, as well as flat-rate babysitting nights at the church building. Or, you can donate online at their team page, or donate to them individually: Christy, Dianne, Kenna and Sunrise.
